Labor Day weekend in Houston
Labor Day weekend we traveled to Houston to visit with family. We were down a couple weeks prior for Shelby's funeral, but we didn't get to visit much with everybody. On our way down, we stopped by Butch and Emily;s house in Huntsville. This is the couple I worked for in college, I am best friends with their daughter, Jessie. Saturday evening we ate at Willies Ice House - I have been wanting to go there so bad because they don't have them in DFW. Sunday, we went to church with Connie in Pasadena, then to downtown Houston for Andrew's first baseball game at Minute Maid Park (Astros v Twins). Net watched Caleb while Josh, Terry, Andrew and I went to the game. Back to Grandpa Terry's for Potato Soup for dinner. Sunday morning we got up and gathered our things and were on the road by 11 in hopes of missing most of the traffic... mostly worked.

Family
The weekend of the funeral we stayed with Karl, Audrey and Aurora. So we got cousin pictures for both sides of the family! In addition, we had a reason to be dressed up so we got a good family picture.

A visit from Great Aunt Jenny and MK
We have been counting down the days since Spring for the Swanson's arrival. Unfortunately, the day they arrived we found out Josh's Grandpa passed away. So our visit was cut short. Luckily, Mom and Dad are local and they finished off their stay in The Colony.
We had to pack our two days with four days worth of activities... tried a new restaurant - Bonnie Ruths, watched some new movies, jumped in "muddy puddles", played outside, brother pictures, created a chain count down to Disney cruise, and lots of play and cuddle time with Andrew and Caleb.
