Guest Bath Updated

We have had the same boring things in our guest bathroom since college. We spruced it up a bit, without doing any major remodeling.

Happy 29th, Joshy!

Andrew crafted a birthday greeting for Josh and presented it to him when he woke up. Josh went to work and his co-workers took him to Babe's Chicken for lunch. Apparently they make you dress up as a chicken when they sing happy birthday.
That evening, we went out to eat for dinner at Pie Five - pizza place. Then home for coconut cream pie!

Trip to Houston

We planned a long weekend to Houston because daycare was closed on Friday/Monday. We left after Josh got home from work on Friday. Drove to Karl & Audrey's house. Andrew was very excited to meet baby Aurora.  We stayed there Friday and Saturday. Saturday, the cul de sac had a crawfish boil and Andrew made some new friends.

Sunday, we spend the entire day with Josh's family.

 Monday, we said good-bye to Karl, Audrey and Aurora. And went to spend a few hours with the Elliotts.

 As soon as we got in the car, he conked out! Slept until Madisonville

Stopped in Madisonville for potty and snack. He had to ride the longhorn.

Got back to Dallas around 6:00pm, and decided to stop at IHOP for dinner. Andrew enjoyed his yogurt and happy face pancake.

ACM Award Weekend

A year ago we purchased a three day pass for the American Country Music Awards. Friday/Saturday was all day concerts and Sunday was the actual award ceremony at ATT Stadium. Friday and Saturday evening concerts were at Globe Life Park... both nights we had strong storms move in which delayed the show. Didn't really start until 9:30pm on Friday and then 11pm on Saturday, when it was supposed to start at 7:30pm both nights.

We stayed for 5 of the 7 main stage duet performances... we were tired and left around 11:30.

Then Saturday I had a friend from college, Meghan, come with me.  We did spend all afternoon there for the lawn performances, but did not get to see as many in the evening because the storms came in about 7:30 and didn't leave until 10:45.  We only got to see one main stage performance and after being hunkered down for a couple hours we left about 10.

Since we were on the field when the storm came, they escorted us through ranger dugout and put us underground until the storms subside
