Disney's Frozen on Ice

Mindy and Palin came up from Stephenville for the day. We had tickets to Frozen on Ice.  We stopped at Mooyah Burger and Fries for dinner then headed down to AAC for the show. It was a little late for Andrew and plus he was getting sick.  He was a little cranky, but I think he enjoyed it.
Before the Frozen story began, we got to see a bunch of disney characters... Mickey, Minney, Goofey, Donald, Nemo & Dori, some of the prince and princesses, and Buzz & Woody!
Andrews favorite part was intermission.  He got a snowcone in the Olaf cup. I forgot to take a picture though - ooops!

Little Elm Easter Egg Hunt

Jackie came up Saturday morning to hang out with us. Josh was taking a CE class all weekend, so the more the merrier.

He collected eggs, went on some bounce houses, played on the playground, met the Easter Bunny, and got a pop corn snack.  We were home by lunch to eat and rest before our visitors arrived, Mindy and Palin Henson.

20 weeks - half way!

Mid-week Date Night!

Josh called me in the middle of the day asking if I wanted to go to the Mavs game that night. One of his patients, who works for the Mavs, had tickets. I was game as long as we could find a sitter.
Mimi to the rescue!
We had great seats and only had to pay for parking. It was fun, spontaneous date night.  Half time entertainment was Christian and Scooby from America's Got Talent!
Oh, and the Mavs beat the San Antonio Spurs 101-94!  Woo Hooo!

Mixing with Mimi

Andrew was helping Mimi make pudding for dessert. There was some mixing... but probably more licking of the spoon once complete!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Adrienne made the kids green pancakes with green milk!  She texted me this picture while I was in Houston for the week.  Daddy forgot to dress Andrew in green... hope he didn't get pinched!

A week with Aurora!

After mom's two week visit, I stayed with Karl & Audrey for a week. Since I work remote it was easy to visit without having to take time off work. Josh was able to leave work early a few times that week to get to daycare in time before they close.

Last day with Lady A... :(
I sure missed my Andy the whole week. So glad to see him!

Painting with a Twist

Jackie asked me if I would like to do Painting with a Twist. I have always wanted to try it, but I have little art skill. However, I have seen plenty of below average art skilled friends complete one and it always turns out very similar to the painting. So I agreed. She treated me to the event one night shortly after my birthday.

The paintings turned out great!  Can't believe we did it in just a couple hours!  Disclaimer... they did trace the Texas shape on the canvas... otherwise who knows how it might have turned out!!!
Pre-painting scared face!

Finished product!

Spring Break Visitors

Nana, Papa and Mary visited us for a week while on spring break. We celebrated mine and Jeanna's birthday, I taught Jeanna how to make a deco-mesh wreath after I gifted one to her, they visited IKEA, and we played lots of games - monopoly, skipbo, rummikub, and dominoes.
