We checked on the house a week or so ago and the house is pretty much done with the exception of the yard and fence. They were there doing finishing touches on the walls and trim. Appliances and carpet were installed in addition to light fixtures and ceiling fans.
We asked them to extend the fence along the side of the house, they were just going to bring fence to back of house. But we wanted more fenced in area for Andrew,and it would break up the monotony of the brick on the side of the house since there is only one window on that side. The city requires corner lots to have board on board fence so it was a little pricy - $750 to add 25 ft. I think it will be worth it! I can't wait to see what it looks like!
BONUS: Since the house is ahead of schedule we moved our closing date up a few days... May 20th.
