Weekend Recap

Saturday, we headed to Mom & Dad's just before lunch time. We arrived just in time for Round Steak Rice & Gravy!  

Play time and nap for Andrew... while I worked on a sewing project.  

After dinner, Andrew and I rode with Mimi to pick up Poppa at the airport. He had been gone for long time!  Poppa was so surprised to see Andrew at the airport!

 Sunday, we did yard work all morning. Got cleaned up and had some lunch. Andrew took a nap and as soon as he woke up we headed to Mimi & Poppa's house to SWIM!  The Kiefers and Hagen Family were swimming too.

Andrew is getting very brave in the water. He wants to just jump off things and leap in. He is getting a little too much for me to handle in the pool, so I put his swim vest on.  He needs to get used to wearing it because his head still falls in the water when he swims forward... but he's getting better. Before we knew it, he was jumping in on his own, went under water and popped back up! He loved it!  He kept doing it over and over and over again.

 Andrew and Allison love being around each other. But Kam, Allison's older brother, is already a little protective. He sometimes comes over and gets between them... so funny.
