ACM Award Weekend

A year ago we purchased a three day pass for the American Country Music Awards. Friday/Saturday was all day concerts and Sunday was the actual award ceremony at ATT Stadium. Friday and Saturday evening concerts were at Globe Life Park... both nights we had strong storms move in which delayed the show. Didn't really start until 9:30pm on Friday and then 11pm on Saturday, when it was supposed to start at 7:30pm both nights.

We stayed for 5 of the 7 main stage duet performances... we were tired and left around 11:30.

Then Saturday I had a friend from college, Meghan, come with me.  We did spend all afternoon there for the lawn performances, but did not get to see as many in the evening because the storms came in about 7:30 and didn't leave until 10:45.  We only got to see one main stage performance and after being hunkered down for a couple hours we left about 10.

Since we were on the field when the storm came, they escorted us through ranger dugout and put us underground until the storms subside

Sunday, we had two standing tickets as well for the awards ceremony.  But we bought seated tickets in March since I was 6 months pregnant and the three days worth of standing was too brutal.  We tried selling our old tickets, but no bites. We ended up asking Josh's sisters, Mary & Becca, to come join us so the tickets wouldn't go to waste.
