First T-ball Game

We signed up Andrew for Blastball league.  They call it blastball because it's not really softball or t-ball at such a young age. His team is made up of 2 and 3 year olds. His best friend, Kameron, is also on his team. He is also familiar with Ariel, a little girl who is good friends with Kameron.

It turned out Nana and Papa Wardell were in town this weekend, so they go see his first "game".  Mimi and Poppa also came to support Orange Crush!

Andrew is #3

In Blastball, they only run to first base after they hit the ball off the tee. They did practice run before they started hitting. I got the perfect shot of Andrew jumping on the base. His coach, Hiliary, was there to give him a high five.
First time at bat with help of his other coach, Stacey.
This video was his second time at bat. The first time he hit the ball and then went and got the ball.  It was so funny. Second time he hit the ball right away, but wanted to start running towards the dugout.  He finally got on track towards first base (sorry it gets blurry as I zoomed out, but you get the gist).

Overall, he did great. He fell off the bleacher in the dugout and cried for a long time because Josh and I were not out there with him. Eventually, Josh went in the dugout and brought him a drink. Then he was fine and did great the second half.  Next game is Monday.
